	A wish came true! Nicolas met and rode Thomas the Tank Engine at Strasburg PA in June 2007!

We can hardly wait. Thanks for your continued support and prayers, Nicolas is doing fantastically after reaching his second year of chemotherapy. He continues to go to the hospital for bi-weekly blood counts, monthly Vincristine, port-administered shots and quarterly-year lumbar punctures besides the daily chemo pills administered at home as outlined. He still hopes to have a repeat of his dream come true which was made possible -on the week of June 18th, 2007 when he had the opportunity to ride Thomas the Tank Engine at Strasburg PA- thanks to the Make A Wish Foundation. 	On Christmas Eve Nicolas went to bed unusually early -9:00 pm- after reading his Christmas book but he couldn't fall asleep out of his excitement so I had to stay with him until he did. I was the one waking up in the middle of the night so I was early. I took pictures of the tree all ready and with the presents around it while the boys slept. While I was getting done taking pictures of the tree with the presents, I heard the thump upstairs and I knew Nicolas was up. I rushed and stopped him from flying to the ground floor. He found his stocking and got busy while I woke Jason up in time for me to rush downstairs ahead of Nicolas with the camera in hand hoping I wouldn't trip. I managed and made it down before he did in time to snap one single pic before he plunged into his presents. It sounded like a stampede of buffalos but I got that precious picture of my son the moment he saw the Christmas tree surrounded by presents. Precious and worth the risk of injury!
