Excitement in one short afternoon!

You won't see much of the rescue crew that answered the distress call from the neighbor. This dog who we know went chasing after some ducks and fell into the canal across the building from our house. The poor dog was scared a bit his owner's hand. The owner was bleeding and couldn't pull the dog out of the canal so he called 911. Luckily, the rescue showed up and pulled the dog out. The owner's wound was cleaned and patched and after a some cautionary words about keeping the dog secured, everybody went home without any fines or warnings.
My boy on the other hand, was watching the action and he was inspired to take out his very own fire engine that David and Lily gave him for Christmas and he drove his truck along the sidewalks across the real fire engine.

Video of Nicolas playing with his fire truck. He loves this mama truck of a fire engine!
