The boy!
I am so excited to be going to siwimming lessons again this summer. I hope my instructors are as fun as last time I was at that park. We are going to drive with Mom every morning so Dad can take the car to go to the pool. I love this because while we wait for 10:00 a.m., we can hang out at the Pet Store and watch the hammies, the cats and the birds. I also love that I get to go to Burger King to have some circle french fries. It's going to be fun!

The camp has reached its last day

it only took us 3 years to be ready to let him go to camp, it was his choice and I knew the moment he expressed a desire to join the group, I would agree. There were children in the group as young as 7 (the min. age requirement to be invited) and as old as 17 (the max. age to attend).

I was anxious and nervous last Saturday when we dropped him off but I relaxed by Sunday morning when I saw the first photos posted. There were photos posted at the end of every day and that was very comforting.

The awards ceremony and the good byes was very emotional, the youngest girl was crying because she didn't want to go home and she didn't want it to end..
There were crowds and crowds of children and adults. Besides the fun we had, we scored on new helmets, the sponsors -Kohls- were promoting bike safety and handing out free helmets to the kids and adults after a brief lecture on how to protect the brain from a fall.
The new helmet came in handy now that the half of the way to get home has to be on the bike and the scooter.
Go back and check out the photos from the event. Have fun and come back, don't forget the log on information!
