Science Project: Recycled Robot

The rules read that the robot not be more than 15inches tall, the components have to be those from household items one would toss in the trash. Allowed new components were glue, packing tape, staples, wires and nothing else needed to be purchased. We followed the instructions and below are the images of the final product.

  • Recycled robot project. Check out how it was made.
  • The recycled items ready to put to use.
  • Nicolas admiring the selection.

It was a fun project and we had to buy nothing to complete it, not even glue or tape. The wires inside the empty bottles of listerine that made the arms were made out of twist ties from toy boxes. Have fun and be inspired to create your own recycled robot with your little ones!
