My son was ready to uncover what the Easter Bunny had left for him as early as 6:00 a.m. I told him to go back to bed and wake me up around 8:30 instead. As many previous years, we re-use a big basket for the purpose of the Easter Bunny's budget and ease; I've had this basket for many years now and my son recieved it from a very generous lady I once met and who gave this particular basket filled with goodies to my son, her name is Jeanie and we used to work out at the same gym back then. So this basket she gave my son is now being used year after year for the goodies of Easter. The tradition is to set the basket ouside in the hallway or downstairs so the Bunny doesn't have to trouble himself about getting my son a new one. I think is the least we can do to make his morning journey less troublesome. As many previous years, we re-use it and the Bunny is spared the expenditure.
The next page has photos of the rest of the day when me drove up to Fort Lauderdale to meet with my cousin Pedro and my nephew Miguel whom we had not seen since June of 2007. Have fun and enjoy the photos! |
