Lavina Sparrow joined the family on a Tuesday, June 12, 2013. I found her laying on the asphalt right under her nest. I was fortunate enough to see her before it was too late.

This is her second Friday with us and she is already flying. This is also the second night she sleeps in the enclosed balcony with cousin Jamie. The first night we closed the gate to the carrier but last night I left it open and in the morning she was outside unassisted and perching around with cousin Jamie. Have fun watching Lavina grow up and become friends with Jamie!
