This is my favorite holiday of the year next to Christmas.  Growing up in Colombia, we didn't celebrate el Dia de Accion de Gracias but we knew about it from what we watched in the episodes of Little House on the Prairie and the Waltons.  I thought that kind of celebration was unique and unvaluable.  Now that I live here in the US, we make Thanksgiving  a memorable day.  Nicolas writes his letter thanking for the good things in his life.
It has become tradition for our family of three to spend Thanksgiving at my frined's house.  Nicolas gets to spend time with his friends while we prepare for the feast. We hope one day to be able to spend it with GranD and his church choir friends.
